The museum does not make any funds from the small books area in the museum, but we believe in supporting those who are making history in our community. This includes authors and artists who come from our region. The books on display are written by Swisher County natives or are about the history of our area/region. It’s a great way to take home something from the museum, and all funds go to the authors and artists featured.
Writers and artists are encouraged to schedule presentations and book signings at the museum during the year to help promote their works and present the historic significance of their work to the community.
