THINGS YOU MAY EXPECT TO SEE AT THE MUSEUM

Exhibits on the property of the Museum:

     ** A log cabin (circa 1884) which was originally located on the JA Ranch

     ** The Jowell House built in 1908 with all of its furnishings

     ** Antique tractors and farm equipment

     ** Happy, Texas Santa Fe Railroad Depot

Inside the Museum:

** A period house complete with furnishings dating from the early 1900’s.

** Quanah Parker’s (the last Comanche Indian Chief) peyote cape in a permanent

     exhibit with pictures and a history of Quanah’s life.

** Antique carriages from the early 1900’s.

** Exhibits of military uniforms and weapons.

** A chuck box…a kitchen for Cowboys on the Plains

** Early railroad exhibit
